Terms of Service

1. Using ZYLO

These Terms of Service describe the rules for using ZYLO, operated by LoopViewMedia, at zylochat.app and chat.zylochat.app. By using ZYLO, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

You must be legally able to accept these terms and meet the age and consent requirements applicable to you and your Google account. Obtain permission from a parent or guardian where required by law.

2. Your account and profile

Sign in using an account you are authorized to use. Keep your Google account and devices secure, choose a username that does not impersonate someone else, and provide accurate information when needed for support. You are responsible for your activity and for telling us at support@zylochat.app if you believe your ZYLO account has been misused.

Google sign-in is provided through Supabase. You may also be subject to the terms of the services you use to authenticate or access ZYLO.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain your rights to content you share. You give LoopViewMedia permission to host, store, process, display, deliver and remove that content only as needed to operate ZYLO, carry out your sharing choices, protect the service and comply with applicable law. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

Share only content you have the right to share, respect the privacy and consent of people shown in photos or videos, and do not post another person’s private information without authorization. Sharing with a friend does not prevent that person from copying or recording the content.

4. Respect your circle

Do not use ZYLO to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, exploit or defraud someone.
• Share illegal content, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
• Send spam, malicious files or unwanted repeated requests.
• Attempt unauthorized access, bypass access controls, automate abuse or interfere with the service.
• Use the service in a way that violates applicable law.

Send reports of abuse, illegal content or infringement to support@zylochat.app. We may investigate reports and restrict access or remove content when reasonably needed to enforce these terms or meet legal obligations.

5. Quick Bursts, public posts and streaks

Quick Bursts are private photos designed to open once for up to 10 seconds and to expire unopened after 24 hours. Public Bursts are posts with a title, description and optional media; anyone can view and share them, and signed-in users can like and comment. They remain public until deleted. Publishing a public post also makes your profile name, username and profile photo visible with that post. Legacy stories from earlier versions remain available to accepted friends for up to 24 hours. These features do not guarantee that a recipient cannot save, screenshot, record or otherwise retain content. Do not rely on ZYLO as a secure vault or permanent archive.

A streak records consecutive UTC calendar days when both friends send a Quick Burst. Texts, public posts and legacy stories do not count. Timing, service interruptions, device behavior and changes to friendships may affect delivery or streak display. Streaks have no monetary value, and we do not promise to restore an expired streak.

A shared invitation link allows recipients to create a ZYLO account through Google and choose to connect with the inviter. Only share a link if you are willing to connect with people who receive it; you can reset it to prevent future acceptance. The signed-out chat preview is local to a browser and cannot deliver messages or Quick Bursts to other accounts. Anyone can browse the public feed, but posting and interactions require sign-in. Clearing browser data may remove preview content and appearance choices.

6. Availability and changes

ZYLO is an evolving service. Features, supported browsers, storage limits and availability may change, and interruptions or errors can occur. We do not promise uninterrupted access, delivery within a particular time or permanent storage of content. ZYLO is not an emergency communication service.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ZYLO is provided as available without additional warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. Liability is limited only to the extent allowed by applicable law; these terms do not exclude liability that law requires us to retain.

7. Ending use and account requests

You can stop using ZYLO and sign out at any time. To request deletion of an account or associated personal data, contact support@zylochat.app using the email associated with your account. We may need to verify ownership and retain certain information where required by law or needed to resolve abuse reports.

We may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to address a serious violation of these terms, unlawful activity, security risks or discontinuation of the service. We will provide notice where appropriate and legally permitted. You may contact support if you believe a restriction was made in error.

8. Updates and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The current effective date is shown above. Material changes will receive an appropriate notice; where additional agreement is legally required, we will request it.
